The Abduction of Richard Neal by Anthony Morris

This is the dramatic story of the abduction of a former slave off the streets of Philadelphia in 1853, which ended up in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Richard Neal, a free African American, having struggled to obtain his family's freedom, was kidnapped in front of his children, followed by a frantic dash to get him out of the "Free State" of Pennsylvania.
