Come see Susannah Brody, one of Chester County’s most exciting story tellers, as she portray Dr. Ann Preston, one of America’s first female doctors and the keynote speaker at Pennsylvania’s first Woman’s Rights Convention on June 3, 1852 in West Chester, PA at Horticultural Hall (now the Chester County Historical Society). Brody will  share excerpts from Dr. Preston’s Convention.

History On Tap is in its 5th year, with continued generous support from BB&T.  This CCHS program series is all about local history in a casual setting.  Join us for dinner on June 20th at The Whip in Coatesville. Susannah Brody is a storyteller and author of several books on local history. She earned a Master of Arts in Oral Tradition from The Graduate Institute in Connecticut and is a member of the National Storytelling Network and Patchwork: A Storytelling Guild.
