Please join CCHS for an entertaining conversation as we explore the early days of sci-fi films before CG (Computer Graphics) with films produced by Valley Forge Films in Chester Springs. Early special effects were perfected in the historic village of Yellow Springs. Many actors made their debuts here before becoming Hollywood stars. Steve McQueen’s first starring role was in the cult classic, THE BLOB. Robert Lansing, Lee Meriwether and Patty Duke appeared in THE 4D MAN where humans wreak havoc as they enter the 4th dimensional state. In 1960 DINOSAURUS unleashed prehistoric creatures. Scary and fun – pioneers of the genre!
