Joel Fry has served as curator for Philadelphia’s Bartram’s Garden since 1992, having first become involved at Bartram’s Gardens in archaeological research in 1975. He studied anthropology, historical archaeology, and American Civilization at the University of Pennsylvania, and has written extensively on the history of Bartram’s Garden and the Bartram family plant collections.

Nationally known Chester County artist Adrian Martinez brings together art and history in his monumental paintings, now on view at CCHS. Adrian’s works are displayed in many public collections including the White House and Camp David. The exhibit tells the story of brilliant botanist Humphry Marshall and the dramatic events surrounding Marshall’s life in 18th century Chester County, PA.

Proceeds benefit CCHS’s educational and community programs.
