About the Speaker
Dr. John Barwis, collecting stamps for 59 years, recently specializing in classic issues of the United States, first issues of Victoria, Australia, and the postal history of Philadelphia. His exhibits have won national and international gold medals, and grand awards in the United States and Great Britain. He is a Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London, President of the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society, President of the Institute for Analytical Philately, Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria, and is a member of many philatelic organizations.
