Chester County Historical Society will be holding its second annual History Trivia Night on Tuesday, May 20, at Barnaby’s in West Chester. The program is part of the historical society’s History on Tap.

The Sixties! The Age of Aquarius in Chester County

November 10 is when the exhibit officially opens to the public as we look-back at the excitement and the tumult of the 60’s in Chester County.  In this exhibition, the framework of national events will shape the stories of local experiences starting with the 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education Supreme Court decision and ending in 1975 with the end of the Viet Nam War.

History's People: Women's History Rules at the Chester County Historical Society's National History Day Competition

On Saturday, March 8, 2014, the Chester County Historical Society (CCHS) hosted hundreds of students from Chester and Delaware Counties during its annual Regional National History Day (NHD) competition. Coincidentally, the event fell on International Women's Day and occurred in Women's History Month, spotlighting the dozens of students who presented projects on women's history topics.
