Heather has over five years of experience in exhibit preparation and installation, museum registration methods, and collections care. As collections manager, Heather maintains and provides access to objects in the museum collection. She assists the curator with installing exhibits, cataloging new and existing collections, and interpreting artifacts. Heather is also primarily responsible for coordinating volunteer projects in the museum.


As Director of Collections, Ellen oversees the museum, library, photo archives and County Archives. Grant opportunities and team projects are geared to making collections in all three areas more accessible to the public.  Putting to use more than 20 years of experience, as the Curator she is responsible for the care, interpretation of and access to the museum collection of 80,000 objects.  She participates in collections management, exhibition development and public outreach.


Margaret processes and writes finding aids for manuscript collections in addition to her time spent as a part-time reference librarian.


Carol and Vicki manage the day-to-day running of the youth programs at the Historical Society. They plan programs and teach both at the museum and in classroom outreach programs.
