When your students visit the Chester County Historical Society they will learn about Chester County's history through exhibits, artifacts, and engaging activities all in a museum setting.  Each lesson includes a direct experience with historic artifacts and documents.

“The wealth of meaningful, readily integrated,  and rich information, presented in exciting and varied ways, cannot be overstated. Our students were exposed to content which aligned with-and exceeded-our current social studies state and district standards. The learning was fun, as well….The day ran as smoothly as a well-oiled machine. Directions and expectations were clear and understood by all in attendance. The level of patience and attention given to individual students and their questions and comments was respectful and dignified. We felt like valued guests. The entire CCHS staff was welcoming and accommodating…. At days end, many students could be heard saying such things as, “I’m definitely coming back here with my family!” and “Wow!”” Debbie Anderson, Greenwood Elementary.
